New Photography Site!!!

So I am rather excited to announce that I am now officially up with my photography site… web.me.com/phily7

However, i will be purchasing soon www.phillipyates.com and using that instead as an easier accessible way.   I hope you all enjoy the site and it links back here to my blog!

On another note… I am preaching tomorrow about Noah and how God used him in such a crazy way as building an ark where there were no big bodies of water… and how we can relate that to our lives and that God has chosen each one of us to be used by Him, sometimes in crazy ways!

Go Green Go…

So the Packers are 2-0 with their new quarterback Aaron Rodgers! It is going to be an exciting season this year… even without Brett Favre. I think they have high potential making it to the Super Bowl. I’m planning on making a trip to Lambeau Field for a game! Go Pack Go!!!

Plans to be a “permanent” blogger

     So I noticed I have a tendency to be quite sporadic on this whole blogging experience, however, I have felt a desire recently to become more devoted. My blog will be an eclectic variety of my ideas on theology, passions, sports, family, bible studies (Psalms will be a constant) and just some “I’m killing time” posts.

Life moves in Seasons… This one is called “Faith”

It has obviously been a while since my last post in May… Oh how things have changed!

1. Back in the States
2. Went to bible college
3. Dating Lauren Byers
4. Dad got re-married
5. Mom got re-married
6. ……..

I love being back in the States, however, I truly miss South Africa! One thing I have noticed is that I can easily obtain stuff here in USA whereas back in SA God was teaching me so much importance on having Faith in Him. Lately I have struggled with going to God when something goes wrong. It is funny how we are closest to God in the midst of our pains and struggles than we are in the easy times. I am thankful to God though that He is with me at all times!

College ends in 2 weeks and after that I am going to have Faith in Him to provide me a job at a church and to be able to pay my school loans!
